Euphorbia x pasteuri is a medium sized rounded shrub with stout stems topped with bold dark green foliage that has a striking light green mid rib and gewt tinged red in autumn. A cross between E. stygiana and E. millifera it takes the best of both its parents the larger more leathery leaves and more rounded shape of E.stygiana and the size and honey sented flowers of E.millifera. Evergreen and architectural its the best Euphorbia (my opinion) one of the first evergreen plant i put in a new garden. The flower bracts are terricotta in colour and has the heady sent of honey in early spring which makes it a great food source for early bees and butterflys. Best in full sun. Hardy my plant was taken to the ground in 2011 at -18 but came back stronger than ever.
